The development of alternative fuel sources is becoming a growing concern here on Earth. The wars over in the Middle East are going on harder and fiercer than ever. The prices of fuel are going up and leaks and broken drilling sites are releasing oil into our oceans at an alarming rate.
For these and countless other reason the need to discover and produce a better source of fuel is needed. However, no alternative fuel source will be viable if it is not high on fuel economy and profitability.
Currently there is a lot of money to be made with oil. Oil can be converted and purified in a variety of different ways in order to make a wide assortment of products. Those who control the oil don’t want to give it up and those who have suggested alternatives to these fuel sources can’t get a foothold because those with the money are blocking it.
Air power is the cleanest form of alternative fuel. The problem with the air is that it only works when the wind is blowing. In order to create sustainable air pressure for power we need to add some type of power source to get machines working to produce wind.
Water is another great resource to create power. When we run water over a fan, we can move the fan creating a charge which produces electricity. The problem with water is that we need to have a large source flowing from a particular area in order to have it work.
Solar power is great as well and could possibly be the solution to the world’s energy problem. However, creating solar panels, large enough batteries that are efficient and the ability to deliver this power to the masses seem to be the main bottlenecks in switching over to solar.
